Bolton Partners operated on aging, on-premises infrastructure composed of outdated servers and workstations—some untouched for years. This legacy setup resulted in:

Approach and Solution:

GOBI Technologies adopted a comprehensive, phased approach focused on infrastructure modernization, cloud migration, security hardening, and IT enablement. Key steps included:

1. Cloud Readiness Assessment:
   We conducted a full infrastructure and compliance assessment, identifying gaps and mapping out a custom Azure migration strategy. This phase included alignment with Azure governance best practices.
2. Modern Infrastructure Deployment:
   Outdated hardware was replaced with Azure Virtual Machines and Azure Virtual Desktop, enabling secure and remote-friendly workspaces. Azure Active Directory was implemented for modern identity management.
3. Security & Compliance Implementation:
   GOBI deployed Microsoft Sentinel and Defender for Cloud, along with Azure Policy, to enforce regulatory compliance and introduce proactive threat protection. Real-time monitoring and alerting mechanisms were put in place to improve incident response.
4. Disaster Recovery & Backup:
   Leveraging Azure Backup and Site Recovery, we established a fail-safe environment that guarantees data availability and resilience under failure scenarios.
